MANDARIN CLASS
In UMS, language is a compulsory subject to be taken till sem 5. Students those obtain Band 3 and below in MUET, are compulsory to take English subject. The level will be increased every sem. For students those obtain Band 4 and above are required to take foreign language. After discuss with various people, I sign up for Mandarin class as a foreign language. Mandarin language is become a requirement to get a job and it will be easy for me to understand what Chinese are talking about. So, i decided that Mandarin language going to help me lot in future. When I enter the Mandarin class on first day, I found out that there are no friends of mine that I know. Some of my classmates can understand or can talk in Mandarin language. My knowledge on Mandarin language is 0%. I start feel nervous wondering how I’m going to cope up with this language. The lecturer is a nice person. So, I didn’t feel much pressure. I start learning words and practice it with my Chinese friends. Everything getting harder and harder, as day pass by. Quiz is coming soon... Don know what I’m going to do...

Campus LiFe
My campus life started last 29/06/2008 in Universiti Malaysia Sabah. That was my first experience travelling in flight. Accompanied by my Chinese friend, her mom and her uncle, I stepped in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. We do all university formalities together. But when we have to settle down in given hostel, she and I given different rooms. Her mom and uncle went with my friend. From that second, my independent life starts. I settle everything on my own. Since that day, I understand very well that it’s time for me to take care of myself and settle everything on own. I can’t expect anyone else to care of me. Everyone is far from family and it’s time for being independent. Thank God that my parents gave me permission to do everything on own, when I was in house. It’s really helping me a lot. I start moving alone in campus.. going to cafe.. going to lectures.. Even some people told that they pity on me. There is nothing to pity about. I’m happy being alone.. Thank to God again for giving me a wonderful guardian to guide me.. I mind my own work. Some of my roommates always will tell that although I’m in room, I look like invisible. Whatever I need, I will try to get it on own. I don’t like to beg to people or asking their help. Even I start Shopping alone in 1Borneo..:-P There is just 1 reason I’m shopping alone.. When 2times I invite my friend, I got response that my friend want to study.. Since that I stop asking anyone to accompany me.. Now I’m in second semester and surviving well..I understand well about campus life now. I learn lot to manage money well.. I cut down unimportant expenses, start having budget.. I had undergone many problems and start being strong in facing it. I start to understand many human characters.. I start to live in my own world.. It’s really very hard for me to be close with anyone.. And believe me, I’m still trying to figure out the reason.. Another advantage for me in campus life is, I start drive car.. Although I’m having car licence for more than 2years, I never be a good driver. Now, in this new place, I drive manual car without my dad beside me.. It’s a big achievement.. I only can go back to house 2times in a year, every sem break.. It’s really sad that can’t go back to house if got 1 week holiday while university students in peninsular Malaysia will be enjoying the holiday with their family.. Waiting eagerly to go back to house in May and start my childish character. Tired pretend as matured girl.. hahahaha.. Enjoying the superb song from movie Ayan, music by Harris Jayaraj and sung by karthik.(Vizhi moodi..)
